The Thomasville Housing Authority's (THA) mission is to provide safe, decent and affordable housing. Every family has the right to enjoy the community in which they reside.

All persons are to conduct himself or herself and ensure other persons who are on the premises with his or her permission to conduct themselves in a manner which will not disturb their neighbors' peaceful enjoyment of their accommodations and will be conducive to maintaining the development in a decent, safe and sanitary condition.

Parents are responsible for the actions of their family members, children and guest. Children fighting and bullying other kids are lease violations. These actions will not be tolerated nor accepted.

Obligations of the Resident

AS A REMINDER: Not to use gas and charcoal grills and not to store or maintain combustible materials or liquids inside the dwelling unit or any storage building attached to a dwelling unit; The use or storage of personal grills of any kind or outdoor cooking devices, such as charcoal or gas grills, camp stoves, turkey fryers, smokers, or similar, are prohibited in all areas of the property.
Designated grills are located at the playground for community use.
Please be advised: Storing or usage of grills will result in a lease termination.

"Stay Cool All Summer Long"

The Thomasville Housing Authority (THA) has hired Rutherford Heating and Air, Inc to install and replace the HVAC in your apartment. The installations has begun on James Avenue as of Monday, April 28, 2025.

The installation date of your unit will be communicated to each resident. This will be a timely process to replace each unit. Throughout this procedure, kindly exercise patience.

Please make sure there is nothing inside the furnace closet. The furnace room, electrical panel box, and thermostat must all be easily accessible to the contractor.

The installation does not require you to be at home. In order to arrange for the contractor to have access to your unit, kindly let the office know if you will not be at home on the date of the installation. For inquiries, call us at 336.475.6137, ext. 101.
